Only Jesus
Time is moving swiftly, and there is so much to teach us. Jesus will take us into a place, shut in alone with Him, where nobody else can go.
The farther Jesus takes us into the depths alone with Him, the darker it becomes--the more His glory is revealed. There is nothing that can compare with the presence of Jesus in the valley in times of heartbreak.
As long as He gives me breath, even though my weak flesh rebels, I want nothing less than to go into the depths with Jesus. Jesus will give us the privilege of going on a little farther with Him as He did the three dearest disciples to His heart when they had crossed the brook Cedron and entered into the Garden. The time has come for our own personal Gethsemane and Calvary.
In this valley, alone with Him there is simply no one to lean upon, only Jesus. Here in this sacred place there are no broken idols, no confidences broken, no broken trusts. And there is the conscious flow of the Spirit...His unending and overflowing supply.
